Sen. Kohl Holds Supreme Court Task Force | News

U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl is scheduled to meet with a task force he created to discuss Solicitor General Elena Kagan's nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. MILWAUKEE (AP)- Kohl plans to meet with the task force Monday at the Marquette University Law School. The task force is an 11-member bipartisan group of Wisconsin legal experts and community leaders that Kohl says will offer their assessment and views on Kagan's nomination by President Barack Obama.

The meeting is in advance of Kagans nomination hearings set to begin June 28 before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Kohl is a member of that committee.
